Hi friends! I am a 29 year old married mom, working full-time, and currently pursuing a degree in Public Health. I figured, what’s one more thing? Let’s do a blog! Life is busy, to say the least, but somewhere between work, school, and mom life, I’ve always found time for my favorite thing: reading.
Reading has been my escape from reality, my comfort, and honestly, sometimes my only quiet moment in a day. Whether it’s a few pages before bed or getting completely lost in a story for hours, books have always been my constant.
At home, life is chaotic in the best way. I’ve got a 5 year old daughter, two dogs, a soon to be pet bunny (stay tuned!), and a never-ending TBR list that keeps growing. And while I love the idea of a perfectly curated, aesthetic book shelf, my favorite reads are the ones that are well loved, marked up… and dog-eared.
Dog Eared by Dev is where I’ll be sharing the books I love, the ones I couldn’t put down, and the ones that stuck with me long after the last page. My favorite genre is psychological thrillers: I love a book that keeps me guessing until the very end. But every now and then, I love a smutty romance to mix things up/ give my anxiety a break.
This blog is for all the readers: the ones who manage to find time every day to read, the ones just getting started, the “just one more chapter” people.
